Nailing waves on the sand

Pinning dead leaves on trees


My nails

Clinging to the edge

Release into the darkness

Of the eternal fall

Cascading through small fingers

Of rain

Into the innermost

Sanctuary

Of my quiet look


I awoke;

The sun was in my room
