What would you like to celebrate?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 06, 2009:
That's it's a rainy day Tuesday and I actually got dressed before going to work even though I dreamt I went swimming and then went to a high school I had never been to before. I was dripping wet in a bathing suit wandering the halls and I almost went into the girl's locker room looking for something more appropriate to wear!
I wonder how that is going to end?
Meanwhile a gull lands on the roof next door, sparrows fly in circles in groups of five and three, a blue truck pulls up to the gate, there are variations in the grey color of the clouds and the lines of the buildings downtown are somehow softer, like they might just fade into the grey clouds, there is a phone ringing outside my office and no one is answering it, I'm going for a walk outside without an umbrella and if it rains I might be back in that dream again?
I wonder how that is going to end?

Help

thanks for the little glimpse into your day’s celebration:-)
Hi Janet, Thank you for stopping by to hear my rambling ;-)
Reading this I just thought, “he is back in the dream again”. :)
I love your rambling. Such a random snapshot into a few moments of your life. I wonder why no one is answering that phone?
Hi Kathy, It such an irony that when we are awake we are dreaming and when we’re not awake we think it’s somehow “real”. I think I have been through a period lately of being in the real world, that circular world contained between my ears that assembles a tomorrow out of a yesterday but fails to see a today because I’m just too busy making the real world.
YES! I’m back in the dream again! Hugs((()))
What an amazing statement you just made. I fell into a dream just following the circular nature of it. :)
Of course you did! How else could I have hugged you? ;-)
swimming: this thing we do in the ocean of life
High School: higher learnings - spiritual
I wonder how that is going to end?: let’s see what you do next :)
do we ever leave the dream?
Hi Hummy, Yeah swimming and flying are recurring themes in my dreams and I’m sure I can fly for real if I have a reason to do so. I think I might have been a black bird in 1299 flying over the orange dry canyons in the south west, subsisting on corn meal crumbs that they left behind on their migration into obscurity?
Hi Mary,
Hey remember this?
“row, row, row your boat gently down the stream, merrily , merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream”
I learned this in kindergarten but I thought it was merely a song children sing.
LOL Doug, I’ve done loads of levitating in dreams - feels so convincing!
Mary, I think that ‘awakening’ experience we hear about from the great teachers may be when we leave the dream state.
